Pro Intercom BP1 Belt Pack

The BP1 portable headset station may be worn on the belt, hung on the wall by its sturdy belt-clip or set on top of a console where the soft plastic strips on its underside keep it in place. The matte black finish minimizes visibility.

The front panel contains controls for switching the microphone on and off, for controlling listening level, and for signaling.  A long-life, extremely bright, 4-segment LED serves as the signal light. The back panel provides a 3-pin female XLR for connection to the system; a 3-pin male XLRfor looping onwards to the next station; a 4-pin male XLR for connection of any standard communications headset; and a switch for choosing between dynamic or electret headset microphone.

The BP1 is plug-in compatible with Clear-Com and other popular headset intercom systems.

Pro Intercom BP1SL Belt Pack

The BP1SL is a modified BP1 that can switch between two circuits. It can only communicate with one at a time. However is has a unique feature allowing both signal lamps to work at all times. If you are using circuit A and someone is trying to contact you from circuit B, the circuit B signal lamp will light, and vice/versa. The circuit connection XLRs on the back are both female, so you cannot loop-through to the next station as you can on a BP1, without the use of a simple Y-cable or SB1 Splitter box.

Pro Intercom BP2 Belt Pack

The BP2 is actually 2 BP1s in the same enclosure. The A and B circuits operate independently of one another and may be used simultaneously. Only the headset amplifier is shared so that both circuits can be monitored on a single-muff headset. As you can see from the photograph, each circuit has its own volume control, signal button, signal lamp, mic on/off switch and sidetone control. The 2 circuits are connected to the rear panel XLRs so a Y-cable or SB1 Splitter Box is necessary for each circuit if you wish to loop through to the next station in that circuit.

Pro Intercom econoCOM

econoCom systems are predefined configurations of our most economical solution to party-line intercom.

The system consists of:
* AC adapter with removable IEC power cord
* PS4 system interface with cable which connects to the adapter
These two devices are the system’s power supply.
* Two, three or four of our standard full-featured BP1 belt packs
* Two, three or four of our most popular headset, SMH310, with connector, for each belt pack.

The system does include a signal light feature.

One to six more BP1 belt packs (for a maximum total of ten) may be added to the system without creating hum or overheating the power supply components.

The econoCom AC adapter and PS4 system interface are fully compatible with Clear-Com® and other popular (200 Ohm, unbalanced) party-line headset intercom systems.

Pro Intercom MS300 Master Station

For those who do not require all the capabilities of the MS301, we offer the MS300. It has all the features and qualities of the MS301, without the IFB, Paging and Auxiliary Audio functions, resulting in considerable cost savings.

Pro Intercom MS301 Master Station

The MS301 is a 3-circuit Master Station with a unique hybrid configuration. Microprocessors operate all the switching, routing, and supervision functions while both the audio path and the core power supply remain analog. The result is a station with unrivaled flexibility, muscular reliability, and clean, smooth audio.
Supervision functions include the individual monitoring of each circuit for faults, and reporting such by front panel LEDs.
The 3 circuits can be operated independently or linked in A+B and A+B+C modes. All electronic “housekeeping” functions such as maintaining proper termination impedance are handled automatically.
The MS301 can be used with a headset or handset or may operated in hands-free mode by plugging in an accessory close-talking, noise-canceling goose-neck microphone (available separately) and adjusting sidetone for deep suppression.
Each MS301 circuit can be used either in intercom communications mode or in IFB mode with program ducking.
Program audio can be directed to each circuit, and be independently controlled and visually monitored.
An accessory to the MS301 is the MSM301 which adds 3 additional circuits (D, E and F) all of which have the same capabilities as the original 3.
The MS301 is compatible with most other 200ohm unbalanced party-line intercom devices.

Pro Intercom PS301 Power Supply

The PS301 is the ideal combination of analog/linear and digital circuitry. The supply section is linear with a toroidal transformer coupled with linear regulators to virtually eliminate stray-field radiation. The PS301 will play well with other sensitive audio and lighting gear with which it shares rack space.
The performance of the power supply is extensively monitored by a microprocessor which detects heat, voltage and the status of both the input and output. Each of the three circuits is monitored independently and faults are reported to the front panel. A red LED indicates when there is a problem with each circuit by flashing. If the fault requires shutting down the circuit, the LED lights steadily. The circuit resets when the fault is removed without booting the power supply.
The power supply provides power for up to 66 beltpacks connected to the circuits. Power is well regulated at 24 volts DC and will automatically adjust down during periods of line voltage brownout or high loading with speaker stations or other equipment.
Short circuit protection and current limiting prevent component damage in the event of connection error or cable failure.
The PS301 has a quiet built-in fan that turns on automatically when needed to cool the unit.
Each circuit has a characteristic impedance of 200 ohms at audio frequencies, allowing many beltpacks to be connected together without significantly changing the circuit performance.
The circuits may be linked in A+B or A+B+C configurations via a front panel switch. The termination networks are automatically removed and inserted during circuit linking to ensure a constant impedance for all circuits.
The termination networks may also be manually removed by setting a switch on the rear panel, if desired. This may be useful when using an adjunct network, or if interfacing with a larger communications system.
The PS301 has a program input which can be directed to any or all of the three circuits. Each circuit has an LED VU meter to report to the operator the level being sent to that circuit, and a control to regulate it.
The PS301 will operate in either the 120VAC or 240VAC range. Selection and correct fusing are done on the rear panel. The power inlet is IEC and we supply power cords with the correct plug for most of the world’s electrical outlets.
